Influences: I don't think I could possibly write the amoun of influences in my life, but foremost would have to be my family for always giving me the love, support & confidence to continue on whatever path I chose. My friends also for their unconditional love.

Music has completley influenced my life. From listening to my mum play The Carpenters every day to favourites of mine such as Prince, Michael Jackson, Roy Ayers, Stevie Wonder, early mixtapes of Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, Marshall Jefferson, Masters @ Work, Farley "jackmaster" Funk, Steve "silk" Hurley, Mr. Fingers, Tony Humphries, Ce Ce Rogers, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Derrick May, DJ Pierre, Todd Terry, Laurent Garnier, DJ Rolando, Roger Sanchez, Franck Roger, Francios K, Danny Tenaglia, Miguel Migs, Julius Papp, Brian Tappert & The Soulfuric family, Spirit Catcher, Dimitri from Paris, Robert Owens, Satoshie Tomie, Jocelyn Brown, Aretha Franklin and many more!

Over the 35 years I've managed to survive in the business I occasionally meet other Artist and DJs that really inspire me. The inspire me in a way that makes me want to run home and start playing records, record a tape or CD, try new things when I'm playing. Or, their sound adds a fresh coat of paint to what I do musically. SILKY did this for me the very first time I heard a choon produced by SEMINAL GROOVES. And when we met we were instant drawn to one another. He was like the little brother I always wanted to dote on, show the right way to do this job, the proper way to handle himself.
But in all actuality he needed nothing from me on this score. The first time I worked with him at EMPIRE I knew the boy had a future in from of him, if he dedicated himself. And that he has.
SEMINAL GROOVES is a musical entity that I know I can surely count on for quality material. There are only a handful of guys in this business I know I can trust when it comes to the music they produce. SEMINAL GROOVES is in good company with some of the best in the business. And a couple of pretty nice blokes too!!!
In this ever-changing arena of dance/house music, if we don't have anything else, thank God we have some artist/producers we can depend on. These days it's very difficult for me to find great songs and productions that are truly dynamic. The kind of material that makes people really prick-up their ears. These guys have it in Spades and I'm a better DJ for carry their work with me always.

I do agree with EVERY SINGLE WORD that Frankie Knucles said about Silky. I have only good experiences with him as a friend, and his productions are always top quality with the SEMINAL GROOVES. He is becoming famous for his mixing skills on his DJ sets, and this is just the proof that a star is born !

Today, it's very rare to find a Dj that truly understands the music he plays. I've seen guys study the scene from start to finish and they still don't understand what's going on. Silky just "gets it". He feels the music and more importantly, he knows how to convey those emotions to the dance floor, either with the decks or in the recording studio.......................................
