They say friends are like minded people...
Well I really love people, all kinds of people... especially
fun loving, creative, expressive, positive, open minded
people ;o) WINK!! WINK!!
I'm the product of Jamaican parents but I was born in
London, Brixton, south London to be exact...
Good old Brixton those were the days... ;o)
I had a pretty good child hood, things became more
exciting as Hip Hop emerged and body poppin and break
dancing were the craze...
There I was spinning on my head with a fat afro with a
touch of jerry juice for good measure lol ;o) oH yEah!
those were the days lol...
So Hip Hop was growing and Tim Westwood was running tings,
but there was also another scene that had a grip on me...
Do you remember Saxon and Coxson? How about
Smiley Culture "Police Officer"? Daddy Freddie?
Yellow Man? Admiral Bailey? Papa San? Tiger?
For those of you who don't know, that was the reggae
scene back in the day... Ahhh the good old sound clash era...
Does anyone remember Saxon vs Youth Man Promotion???
Hott Hott... better yet... who's got a tape.
After my breaking crew split up I accidentally stumbled
onto the music scene joining my first band
'Ragga Muffin Youths' lol what a name lol...
my role was Bass Guitar...
We were only 15-16 years old and we were on stage
supporting Gregory Isaacs within our first month...
Since then, music has become apart of my life ;o)
My journey has been a long and exciting one,
now after a short break... Its time for the excitement to continue ;o)
Stay Tuned...
