About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

I'm a daydreamer with his head in clouds, but luckily I have big feet and like to wear heavy boots. My Great-grandmother told me (well past her 100th birthday) that the secret to life is moderation, and I live more by her humble rule than I do of all the religions and philosophies I have come across in this lifetime. I have now lived long enough to have learned more from life than I did in school. I've met the man of my dreams, and he even sleeps in my bed everynight. I'm a terrible gogo dancer, but somehow people keep paying me to do it. I am the manager and soon to be owner of NakedYoga Los Angeles.

My Interests

Yoga and XBox. Foreign escapes and gardening. Cooking at home and dining out. Contrast.

I'd like to meet:

compassionate wise-asses and narcissistic do-gooders. People who live in their world but play in mine.

Music:

Rilo Kiley, The Postal Service, Tori, the Killers, Scissor Sisters. I will be 109 years old and still throwing myself around the room listening to BJORK. Saint Etienne, Placebo, Incubus, and my boy Casey Stratton. SUBSONICA!! Gwen Stefani is God incarnate, I swear. Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, and Nat King Cole and all the Classical music that I shamefully admit I listen to but rarely remember the titles of. Anything that delivers itself with true emotion and doesn't apologize for it.

Movies:

Angels in America, Butterfly Effect, Watership Down, The Neverending Story, Steel Magnolias, Dancer in the Dark,Sunset Boulevard, All About My Mother, Le Fatte Ignoranti (His Secret Life in english, but translated The Ignorant Fairies), 8 1/2, Romeo and Juliette, Anything that I am in. Theres only about a million other films that I could list here, but this is enough to get the ball rolling.

Television:

Weeds, Grey's Anatomy, Simpsons. History Channel, The Learning Channel, Discover Channel. That's it, mostly.

Books:

Autobiography of a Yogi (Paramahansa Yogananda) The Tree of Yoga (B.K.S. Iyengar) Beloved (Toni Morrison) The Alchemist (Paolo Coelho), The Great and Secret Show (Clive Barker), Rare Flesh I and II (photography by David Armstrong), Conversations with God series (Neale Donald Walsh).

Heroes:

People all over the world who selflessly give of themselves to create a better life experience for everyone else, through love, compassion, and understanding of Who We Are.
