A windmill spinning, the wind in the surf froth at the beach. My children used to chase the froth along the beach.
TINY CURLY SHELL- A HOME OF A LITTLE BEACH CREATURE.
Writing in my hammock at the beach. Relaxing with a wine or two, or three.ahhaha.
Camping on the beach at Fraser Island. Swimming and snorkeling in the fresh water lakes at Fraser Island. Sneaking through the bush to take photographs of the sea eagles in their nest feeding fish to their babies, and hearing them screech when they see me looking.
Taking photos of nature, feeding the large spiders in and around the trees around my house. Watching the swans, cignets and ducks at the lakes near my home, Walking, Jogging on the beach.
Hearing from my friends via. snail mail. Nothing like getting a real letter. Watching the little whip snake that lives in my apple tree outside my office window. Picking my own fruit off my fruit trees in my yard. Laughing with bestest friends on our deck. I love to laugh. I have a wicked s.o.h.
Enjoying a good glass of red wine or port after dinner. Giving presents to my best friends. Making people laugh.

MY DAUGHTER, ELLISA RESCUED THIS LIZARD FROM HER BACK YARD, WHEN HER DOG ROUNDED IT UP. SHE LET HIM GO INTO AN ADJOINING PROPERTY BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE A DOG.HE WAS ABOUT 17INCHES LONG.

I GOT MY NEW CAMERA TODAY. I HAD LOTS OF FUN IN MY GARDEN. THIS SPIDER LOOKS LIKE A VAMPIRE BAT. HE'S CALLED A MONEY OR JUMPING SPIDER AND IS ONLY TINY, LESS THAN HALF AN INCH. IT'S CONSIDERED GOOD LUCK IF HE LANDS ON YOU.

EVEN THE HUMBLE FLY CAN LOOK GLORIOUS. HE IS SEEN HERE TAKING OFF. AMAZING HUH?

THIS IS A TINY CRANE FLY. Crane Flies can be a nuisance when they enter homes. They really do no harm. They only come inside because they are attracted to lights. Crane Flies do not bite, since they don't even eat! They are important because they help break down dead plant material, especially dead leaves and stems on the bottoms of streams. This keeps the water healthy for fish and other wildlife.I took this photo yesterday after mowing the lawn. I must have disturbed him. This is a juvenile Crane Fly. He was about 1/4 of an inch long.

Books:

BOOKS. again, I have many in my library. I don't get a great deal of time to read thought, too busy writing. I have about 8 Hunter S. Thompson books . Fear and Loathing is great, so is 'The Rum Diary' I do hope that Johnny and Benicio do something with it, I am sure Hunter will be with them in spirit helping them along.

Heroes:

HEROES. When I started myspace nearly 2 yrs ago I didn't give it much thought when I filled out this 'hero' section. I am now writing my true hero's. To all the Gustavo del Toro's and other Dr's. in the world saving little kids and adults alike. To the firefighters around the world. To the ambulance drivers, life savers on our beaches and paramedics who see tragedy every day and hold lives in their arms. To all the people who work shifts around the clock getting the important 'behind the scenes' stuff done. My hero's are my dearest husband of nearly 30 yrs. Whose love and patience has moulded me into the woman I am now. who loves and adores me for who and what I have acheived. My children who 15 yrs ago would not have made this list,[puberty, yuk] they have grown into the most beautiful pair of adults a mother could ever wish to have. Next comes my Mum, brother, sister and the inlaws. To wonderful Annie who has always been there for me. My sister who hasn't been but has now come back into our family. I adore her for what she has acheived. My nephew who has finished 40 weeks of drug rehab to go to be totally clean. He has been through 'real hell'... next comes the deceased My wonderful Dad. my grandparents, my wonderful f.i.law who passed away at age 45 yrs. on the floor of a factory. To my dearest H.S.T. for being himself even when I didn't know who he really was. M.Gibb former BeeGee, for making the most beautiful music with his brothers. To all my net friends, too many to mention and they all know who they are. To my professional friends in the business who, without their guidance I would not be where I am today. Almsot last but not least, my dearest friend 'b' who I talk to without fail every day. And last to my beautiful friend 'Soul' in N.Y for being a great friend. I love you .
