Danish guitarist, composer, arranger, conductor, music teacher. Born 22. July 1974
Education: 1996-2001: Music teacher degree and musician master degree from the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus.
2005-2007: Advanced performance and composition class (a.k.a. soloist class) at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus.
From 2006 based in Copenhagen, DK
Beside my own groups Kasper Bai Orchestet and Kasper Bai Kvartet, I am a co-leader of the groups Cordelia, Løgn, Järv, Plamage and A.C.E.
I have composed and arranged pieces for a.o. Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Jutland Youth Symphony Orcestra + Choir, RAMA symphony Orchestra + Bigband, RAMA Choir + Bigband, Klüvers Bigband and Upstairs Bigband, plus string quartets, sinfonietta stuff, more choir pieces etc, etc.
I also arrange strings, horns etc for jazz and pop recordings etc, and
I have done a lot of conducting especially for bigbands etc.
I work as a theory, ensemble and bigband direction teacher at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus.
Besides I play the guitar as a sideman in various bands and projects.
