Sine Christensen graduated from Copenhagen Royal Acadamy of Music in 1998. Besides composing her own music, she plays sopranosax, altosax, barytonsax, and clarinet (Bb) with a number of different bands: NordlydDuo, plays original material and arrangements of old hymns in a nordic/lyrical jazz-sound, with Karen Gramkow on double-bass; La Strada, a quartet playing folkmusic from many places of the world; GingerJazz, a project started with Luna Skov Frederiksen in tribute to old standards with Billie Holliday and Chet Baker amongst others. Her saxophone can also be enjoyed in Lunatunes, who plays compositions by Luna (go to: myspace.com/signelunaskovfrederiksen) and once in a while she is playing duo with Benjamin Aggerbæk. When sometimes used as a musician in theatrical performances, she also plays her bass clarinet, flute and african drums.
