Caution! Art Kills!

About Me

Caution! Art Kills! is a danish jazz-trio consisting of pianist Caspar Hesselager, bass-player Thomas Sejthen, and drummer Christian Windfeld. Once again, the old-school piano trio is taken out for a spin, but C!Ak! takes you on a ride that draws equally on influences by modern rock, classical music, free-jazz, and singer/song writers. The trio's debut-album, 'Live In Aarhus' was recorded live in the spring of 2008, and is a diverse journey into - and interpretation of - music from swedish electronica-duo, The Knife, the late, great songwriter, Elliott Smith, the one-of-a-kind icelandic singer, Björk, 60s rock band, The Zombies, Norwegian electronica-duo, Röyksopp, and jazz-icon, Paul Motian.
