PIRATES AGAINST RAPE

*91% of rape victims are female. 10% of victims are male. 99% of offenders are male.*77% of rapes are committed by someone known to the person raped*Women of all ethnicities and socio-economic classes are raped*Women with disabilities are raped and abused at twice the rate of the general population*In the 39% of attacks that are reported to police, there is only a 16.3% chance the rapist will end up in prison.*Factoring in unreported rapes, about 6% of rapists—1 out of 16— will ever spend a day in jail. 15 out of 16 will walk free.The legal system isn't working. Not that we encourage any illegal actions (we won't cry over broken laws either... we think of the state as more of... guidelines...), but shouldn't these men see some sort of justice? At the very least shouldn't other women know what they've done?
