About Me

Born from a combined love of strange country and whisky soaked dreaming was Double No No, determined to bring stories of sea creatures and fatal romance to all the cowgirls and ranch hands left in the world. We also threw in some songs about dogs and bee’s and stuff. ’Blackhearts and Crossbones’ was the first song to come to the surface after we had decided to embrace 2007 as ’the year of the duo’ and the response was so positive that we took our stripped, down-tuned and raw sound out live with bands like The Hosts (at a showcase in the wonderful Club 60), Josiah, Dexter Jones Circus Orchestra, the Carolanne Showband, Pollinates and Corleone to name but a few great groups. We are currently writing with a view to record with Mr Liam O’Shea (wearetheblacklights) at his own studio. So there.
