Melancholy Shopping Trolley is an innovative and provocative promotions company dedicated to providing a platform for artists to perform in interesting and intimate venues. Primarily supplying the local Sheffield music collective with new and interesting artists, 2007 sees us expanding to other cities 'exporting' our talent and knowledge to others who appreciate good songs and interesting music.We merit all performers on our interpretation of their performance and music, straying from popular demands and the requirement of a big crowd. We have developed established regular events and maintain a free door policy for all, with, in most cases, free refreshments and reduced bar bills.Our aim is to provide talented musicians the mediation between music and audience. We also have a very good working relationship with record labels, managers, promoters and other artists from around the UK aiding our industry with good new music.Due to the nature of the shows we organise, our commitment is limited, at the moment, to two monthly events with another 'floating' event added each month at a date and venue that suit all concerned.
