My passion for music began at a young age through listening to my parents records, especially Blondie, The Beatles, Bowie & ABBA. As I got older my interest grew, so I learned to play the guitar, formed a band & started to write songs, but it was when I set up a studio in my bedroom that I knew I had found my calling. With a drum machine, an 8-track tape recorder & a synth borrowed from a mate, I took my first tentative steps in the world of electronic music. I went on to study Sound Engineering at the SSR Manchester & soon after got my first job as in-house producer & engineer at Aberdeen based labels Hook & Bellboy. Realising that I wanted to take my music in a different direction, I relocated to Glasgow & co-founded labels Advance & Sensei which gained support from the likes of Colin Dale, Ian Pooley, Laurent Garnier, Darren Price, Terry Francis & Dave Mothersole. I have remixed & released tracks under various pseudonyms & appeared on compilations by Sasha, Bedrock, Danny Howells, Pete Gooding & Darren Emerson to name but a few.With tracks out now on District of Corruption (Berlin), Toolroom Trax & Slave Recordings plus the Ministry of Sound Sessions mixed by D. Ramirez, it looks like 2007 is shaping up to be a busy year.....
