Biography
Jörn Hollmann was born 1982 in Frankfurt/Main and grew up in south-west Germany. In his early teenage years he became infected with electronic dance music and along with his passion for listening to records and dj mixes soon came the idea of venturing into the remix and production world himself.
In 2007 Jörn got signed by Oliver Koletzki to the Berlin-based record label Stil vor Talent. His first release Dizko Toaster 'Toast Hawaii', an italo-disco influenced filter house tune, immediately smashed dancefloors worldwide as well as the bestseller lists of the vinyl and mp3 shops (No. 1 at the junodownload charts, No. 2 at web-records etc.).
Besides Dizko Toaster, Jörn appears under various guises, such as Nerdy Jerk (bastard pop) and The Technarchist (techno/minimal), and has also worked in collaboration with international artists such as DJ Global Killer and singer/songwriter Dave Beattie.
