Welcome to Something To Do . You've been looking for Something To Do for far too long around Preston and now you've found it .The only permanent underground house night of its genre in Preston the second Saturday of the month residing at Loft ,Glovers Court .Something To Do is the brain child of Juke O'Hagen,with over 14 years of dance music experience under my belt playing with names such as Pete Tong ,Annie Mac, Simian Mobile Disco,Smoking Jo,Chaim and at events such as Feel,Sankeys and at MyHouse (Leeds) I have decided to use all of that knowledge to try and bring the best atmosphere and music policy to Preston.I look to invite local talent to come and play for me and the most important thing is the music.It is my job as promoter of the night to get people into the venue and try to create a friendly and inviting party.--------------------Something To Do are proud to announce the next step in there ever evolving journey . We have secured a date which is an absolute must in your clubbing calender as you warm up for the Christmas festivities and after reading this im sure you'll agree this is one very special night for us all .------------------Club SO is Set in an old georgian house which was once the residence of the late Prime Minister William Gladstone during his terms in office between 1868 - 1894. The buliding itself is steeped in history and imposes itself upon you immediatley. The club itself is split over three floors which include The Bassment, The Attic and The Social Room.-----------------------------------------THE BASSMENT This is the main area to the club and holds 700 people comfortably. The room has an underground feel to it with a mezzanine area overlooking the main dancefloor. Fully air conditioned with a Turbo -Sound system and intelligent lighting, this space generates an intimate yet electrifiying atmosphere. --------------------------THE ATTIC Set on the second floor with a capacity of 250 The Attic has exposed brickwork and low cielings to give this area a minimal underground vibe. To the side of the room is a low lit snug area where you can watch the action through the exposed archways. --------------------------------------------SOCIAL Up on the third floor you will find the social. This is where you come to catch up with friends or simply take a rest from the shenanigans within the club. Plenty of leather chesterfields and kitsch furniture set the tone to socialise.--------------------------------THE ROOF TERRACE Leading out from the social room is our tranquil roof terrace. This space has a open plan decking area and covered social space.------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------How will we get there ?I hear you ask ,well coaches will be arranged to pick you up from Preston City Centre drop you outside the club and then pick you up again and return you home to Preston just add yourself to this group and let me know how many of you would like to come along and join us as we kick off the christmas holiday with one almighty bang.Dj's playing in the STD ATTIC will be:JukeO'Hagen, Lee Madden Mark Kovich , Andy Fullard Dave Tomlinson & Sam Vilante. The cost for all this entry into the club and return travel is going to be no more than £23 we are currently talking to coach firms to try and get the best deal possible to keep the cost down for everyone so get your names down early to ensure you'll be included or if you just need tickets then let me know.
