Appearing thoughtful is easier than actually thinking.

About Me

I am pretty much not a Coked-Up Amish Self-Abuse Councilor. Let's get that straight, right off the bat. So don't come to me with your "touchy" problems, Mr. Hands, or your crop rows, or your extended pinky nail, because that's just not me. And I ran the Portland Marathon because I'm fond of ridiculous acts. This year I'll be learning Krav Maga and I'd like to use it to beat a great white shark into submission. Those are things which you now know about me.
I tell lies, close to pathologically, but then I type those lies out and somehow they keep ending up in print. There's a website devoted to my writing with the following address:
www.jeremyrobertjohnson.com
The name, she is clever, yes?
I can bowl pretty well, if that's of interest to you.
Also, Guerilla Mode is in full effect so I have to hit you with the propaganda for my batch of Bizarro books:
ANGEL DUST APOCALYPSE , EXTINCTION JOURNALS , and Stoker Award Nominee SIREN PROMISED are all available via the above Amazon links, and at JRJ.com . Here are some quotes about the books from people I have "questionable" photos of:
ANGEL DUST APOCALYPSE
"A dazzling writer. Seriously amazing short stories- and I love short stories. Like the best of Tobias Wolff. While I read them, they made time stand still. That's great."
—CHUCK PALAHNIUK, author of Fight Club, Haunted and ChokeEXTINCTION JOURNALS"DUCK AND COVER, BITCHES! Jeremy Robert Johnson answers the call to glory with his intimately insectoid mini-epic of apocalypse, Extinction Journals: a trip far weirder and more fucked up than it has any right to be. Just like these times."
—JOHN SKIPP, author of Conscience, co-author/editor of The Scream, Mondo Zombie, and Book of the DeadSIREN PROMISED"Using Alan M. Clark's gorgeously dark fantastique artwork to springboard the lush, compelling, often raw storyline forward, Johnson and Clark have created a unique literary atmosphere full of dread and wonder. This is a synergistic fusion of major talents that seethes with the black, beautiful energy of nightmares made real."
—TOM PICCIRILLI, author of Headstone City and A Choir of Ill Children
Next up- Two new novels, TUNING FORK and SKULLCRACK CITY.
So there's that. And here's this, for those in search of The Weird:

The Ones. The Ones With the Lazers. ANDPeople who know the deal, but aren't utterly concerned with it. Because when it comes down to it, and you're worm-meat or ashes on the ocean waiting to wash into the mouth of a toddler just learning to swim, the deal isn't all that important. Oh, and Asia Argento.
