About Me


Like many performers, Misty embarked on her musical journey at a young age. By the time she was ten, she was writing her own material and performing at various Texas venues, eventually opening for Country music legends such as Bill Anderson and Don Williams. She travelled between Texas and Nashville to study with renowned vocal coach Renee Grant-Williams before settling permanently in Nashville in 2004. Since moving to town, she has been a regular at popular songwriter venues while maintaining a steady performance schedule that requires her to travel periodically between Tennessee and the Lone Star State. Misty’s career is continuing to take shape in exciting and unexpected ways. She recently began working with award-winning songwriter and producer Robert Ellis Orrall (Taylor Swift, among many others), and she is adding to her burgeoning fan base as she polishes material for her next upcoming full-length album.
