About Me

I love the Lord with all my heart. My favorite quote is from Elizabeth Barrett Browning: "The Earths crammed with heaven and every common bush afire with God but only he who sees takes off his shoes the rest sit round it and pluck blackberries." I love seeing God's fingerprints in the lives of those around me and in the world. My greatest desire is to always remain shoeless and in awe of God and his deeds. My Interests

I love being outside. My favorite places in the world are parks and beaches. I love to lay on my back and watch the clouds float by. I have an obsession with knitting. I love challenging myself to new patterns and designing new patterns. I enjoy reading and always have several books going at once. oh, yeah.... and i confess... i am a coffee addict!

Music:

I enjoy anything from classical to country to rock. Right now though I'm on a country kick. I love music that brings back memories. Music that makes you think of someone, a place or a time.

Movies:

I absolutely LOVE movies. Almost all kinds. The only ones I really dont like are the thrillers, ya' know the ones with blood every where and the eerie music... But my favorites are: Life is beautiful, The borne supremecy, You've got mail, Forest Gump, Cinderella Man Fiddler on the Roof, and Top Gun. I really enjoy black and whites like To Catch a Thief, and Roman holiday, An Affair to Remember and Father Goose.

Television:

Gilmore Girls- never miss it!! I also admit to enjoying reality shows....

Books:

Windows Of the Soul and Things Pondered are my absolute favorites. I keep both by my bed and read them frequently. I aslo enjoy all of C.S. Lewis books, along with anything from Ken Gire and Beth Moore. Oh, and of course, the bible!

Heroes:

My Sister!!! C.S. Lewis, Beth Moore, Joni Erikson Tada, Madame Jeanne Guyon, Joan of Arc, anyone who forsakes their life for the sake of christ.
