About Me

BILLBACHMAN.NET -check it out!
I'm definitely blessed to get to do what I love for a living--play and teach drums! (I teach drums at Fork's Drum Closet in Nashville.) I also get to do a lot of traveling all around the globe doing drum clinics sponsored by Vic Firth sticks and Heavy Hitter pads, Remo drumheads, Zildjian cymbals, Dynasty drums, RowLoff publications, JW3 publications, and Sensaphonics earplugs. I also have these things out which help to sustain my habit:
INSTRUCTIONAL BOOKS:Rudimental Logic, Quad Logic, Bass Logic, and the Logical Exercise Packet (available through RowLoff.com and many dealers in many lands)
INSTRUCTIONAL DVD's: Rudimental Beats -instructional video for everyone who plays drums with lots of drumset action thrown in, & Reefed Beats -instructional video for all battery percussion featuring lots of quad drumming action! Both are available through RowLoff.com, and many dealers in many lands
DRUM PADS: Heavy Hitter Pad series from Vic Firth (available through VF dealers everywhere)
MUSIC: There are lots ..o full battery rams, duets, solos, & cadences now out through JW3.com. Yee-ha! I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

Check out the Olivia Dunkle tune above with Bill's deffness-laden beats on it!
Oh yeah, I like Drumming! (drumset & rudimental) and having good times with my lovely bride.

I'd like to meet:

You! (& musicians of all shapes & sizes). I gotta.. tell you though, this myspace thing is growing like crazy! I'll try to answer all of the questions & such that come in, but this is starting to take time away from practicing, writing, & working on other beat-laden projects! I must prioritize like the wind! Oh yes...

Music:

Anything that's done well in any style is great! My influences/favorite bands in particular are: Genesis, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Stevie Wonder, Rush, Neal Morse, Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, The Police, Mutemath, Ravel, and the list goes on...

Movies:

Saving Private Ryan, Shawshank Redemption, The Passion, The Green Mile, Anchorman, Splinal Tap, Waynes World, Rad! Those are just a few that come to mind...

Television:

Does the brain bad. I average about 2 hours a month in front of the boob tube. Watching BBC news is time well spent. If I had cable I'd be glued to the History & Discovery channels.

Books:

The Bible, Wild at Heart, and pretty much anything by C.S. Lewis

Heroes:

The Lord of Lords and King of Kings Jesus Christ! He made me and thankfully purchased me for a price.
