About Me

I have been very blessed to have worked, and continue to work with the most humble people in the music industry today. Since the age of 14 when I competed in my first talent contest in a mall in San Antonio, Texas, then traveling with my band all over Texas. Moved to Nashville in '83, . Demo singer from 1983-86 (Common Ground Music) (MCA), and was chosen via an audition to be on TNN's first talent show called "You Can Be a Star". Grammy nominated 2001-2007 in the Children's Music Category for Little House of Music (J. Aaron Brown Publishing, Nashville, TN) collaboration with Georgia Lucking-Germond. Other music compositions published with Warner/Chappell Music and Jan Crutchfield Music, Nashville, TN. In 2006 Worship CD "What About Him" produced by Alan Shacklock (produced Jeff Beck, Roger Daltrey, Meatloaf, Phil Keaggy, and the list goes on an on...google him!) and might I mention, the most humble gentleman!Whether we are playing in a bar, in a chapel worship service, or with our friends, being a 'cool drink of water' to those who are thirsty, to wash each other's feet--the 'vision' being Christ alone! Whether we are playing old Beatle tunes, or singing Tammy Wynette songs, to touch the hearts in love means so much! Most of us are seasoned veterans in the music/entertainment arena...we believe that the youth need 'mamas and papas of faith' to love 'em--no matter what! Plain and simple, there is only ONE STAR, and His name is Jesus!

Influences: My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Apostle Paul...on Earth many comrades in Christ who we love eternally. May deep continually cry to deep! My Mom and Dad’s music throughout the home influenced me early on. Dad was a musician with the Oklahoma Playboys; Mom was a great singer. My brother and I grew up in many Texas Dance Halls "under the influence" of Bob Wills, and cutting our teeth while dancing to the "Cotton-Eyed Joe"! Also to the memory of Junior Wendel, our phenomenal steel man during our old band days...love to my brother LJ who has been such an inspiration to me over the years as a role model to those who have faced challenges.
