Influences: This is a videos of me and Daddy singing "Daddy Come Home."I love this video because I remember watching Mom and Daddy recording this on HEE-HAW and if you look closely...you can see me on the hay bale behind them. What I love the most is that is shows their great sense of humor. Both of them loved to laugh and play! This makes me smile every time I watch.They sang alot of songs together, but this is definitely in my top 5 favs of all time! I also love the way the video was put together.....great pics!I know this isn't in English, but it's one of only a couple videos I have of me on stage with my Mom. It doesn't last long, so, don't look away...LOL. I sang that song (Delta Dawn) from the time I was 3 until about 12 years old.Bedtime Stories was one of my favorite songs when I was growing up. D-I-V-O-R-C-E is on here, too. The reason this is so special to me is because of what Mom always did for me when she sang it. The actual lyrics said me and little J-O-E will be going away, but I remember telling Mom that I thought that song was written about her, Daddy and me. So, every time after that when I was on the road with her (even as an adult) she would always change the lyric to say me and little G-E-O. I always thought she just did that when I was there, but I've seen a few videos like this one over the last couple of years and she changed it every time. Mom always made me feel special....and she still does! I LOVE YOU MOM !!!!!
