B i o g r a p h y : Born in Naples in 1984, Valerio GdA is just a forteen-year-old boy when he first approaches the electronic music world by listening to artists such as Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Ian Pooley and others.. Fascinated by the mid ‘90s current of the “French touch”, he becomes keen on a number of electronic sub-genres till the decisive “techno revelation” when he discovers artists such as Plastikman, Underworld, LFO, Leftfield, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Laurent Garnier, Slam and Dave Angel after buying some records in Paris during a family trip. Back home, he shares the “new sound” with his classmate Antonio G (born in Naples in 1983) who is dazzled as well and becomes fond of these sounds, setting out with Valerio on a “journey” made of steady musical quest aimed at increasing their knowledge in the field. New technologies such as internet and a strong friendship cultivated day by day in a town between the sea and the Vesuvius, make the project go successfully on. Here come the first Technics SL1210. Things are getting more serious and in 2004 Antonio and Valerio give birth to the Natural / Electronic . System ., a dj duo addicted to Techno, Dub Techno, Minimal Techno, Progressive, IDM and Industrial. Their dj sets are a mix of all these ingredients. After some performances in Naples area they reach northern Italy and they test themselves against musical production and a clearer outline of their own sound. In a couple of years they create the digital record label Stomafunk Records together with their friend Andrea Grasso aka Under Electric Shock. At the end of 2007, after receiving very good feedbacks for their digital project, they decide, together with their friend Andrea, to start a new label project named DIFF:USE, with releases on 12” vinyls. Artists such as Donato Dozzy, Neel, Anders Ilar, Touane, Ra.H, Mike Parker and others are supporting this upcoming 2008 project.. So, stay tuned for more! :)
