RILLS

Rills started approaching to electronic music in 1996 thanks to the house music background that characterized that period. Since 2004 he has been a member of Xplosiva, one of the most important organization that promotes contemporary electronic music, youth culture, and arts, and since then he started to play with international djs. Through Xplosiva he has had the chance to play at ClubToClub, one of the most important international festivals of electronic music and arts in Italy. In 2005 he starting to produce electronic music , inspired by artists like Villalobos, Maurizio, Akufen, Moodyman, Carl Craig and Derrick Carter. In 2007 he produced his first track characterized by a funky-house sound on the italian label Italobusiness, receiving a lot of positive feedback; while in 2008 his track “Monday Morning” is released in the Compilation “Connection Vol.10” on Stomafunk Records. Actually he is working in his studio on some different projects, mixing Funky, House and Chicago sounds, always revisited with a minimal approach. Rills djset are infact his strong point, where he express himself at best, ranging from house to techno… Detroit obviously!
