Established in September 2005, by Chief Instigator Mr B INDEPENDENT has become a collective of passionate music fanatics and creative talent, dedicated to promoting live music in Blackburn, Lancashire. Since its conception INDEPENDENT has gone from strength to strength championing and nurturing local talent and attracting bands from as far a field as Hamilton, Ontario and Latvia. There have been too many highlights to mention, showcasing a magnitude of live bands. An ever expanding community of like minded pioneers, INDEPENDENT is acknowledged as the benchmark, number one promoter in a now vibrant town, a town where previously nothing happened.Often imitated but never out-gunned Independent continue to innovate and develop our operations, always raising the bar in a tireless pursuit for a greater good.
