Avalon Way

See Me Down ~ Released Monday 31st March

About Me

Biography
Four amiable youths from Darwen, Lancashire, are forging themselves an identity. Growing up Avalon Way were conditioned by the aura of the early 90’s and the notable northern music scene, that and whatever noise America was pumping out via MTV. These were unavoidable features of AW history yet it is the smaller influences in each member’s years that really give Avalon Ways musical character an edge.
The songs are consolidated by an Alternative-Rock nucleus, brave enough to diverge on both post-hardcore and indie in equal measures. Mixing full on heavy rhythms with often intricate melodies, Avalon Way can be dark, aggressive and anthemic yet subtle, elaborate and ordered. It shows a musical depth and maturity that you wouldn’t normally find in a group of early 20 somethings.
In their brief period so far Avalon Way have signed a singles distribution and publishing deal with Acorn records, packed out home town shows, toured the UK numerous times and even had air play on national radio in India. They’ve been play listed on many local UK stations and across USA, Canada, Australia and the rest of Europe with a host of live sessions and TV appearances. Avalon Way will continue to tour, record and have fun ad infinitum and the best is definitely still to come.
