About Me

In the year K.O.T.I blessed the music scene with their presence the band achieved pretty much... nothing!
Andy Salter and Marc (Armstrong) Arnam decided to form K.O.T.I after years of playing in other bands together during the summer of 2005. It was nearly 2 years until Marcs brother Steve Woolham and his old school friend Alex 'Badger' Huxley joined the the band permanently and the band was ready to start gigging and recording Andy's songs.
Between October 2007 & March 2008 the band played a succession of gigs across the Northwest in places like Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Crewe, Earlestown, Ellesmere Port and Warrington to name a few, they spawned a small but loyal online following, they got voted on to the Wirrals Buzz FM & Manchesters XFM, they recieved other online radio air play and critical acclaim with their indie online and ltd edition CD release of 'The End' before an Oxford based Indie label taken interest in them.
Unfortunately around this time the band had formed some internal problems and Marc Arnam left the band to persue something else. His brother Steve naturally went with him as first instinct.
Within a week Sean Seery of local Deeside band 'Part of the Queue' taken an interest in the available role and had a jam with the band. On hearing this Steve apologised to all for making the wrong descion and rejoined the band. None the less, after a few rehearsals and a gig in Leeds it appeared Steve was not as happy in the band without his brother and on a mutual and ammicable basis he was no longer in the group.
The remaining 3 jammed with a couple of other guitarists before Andy discovered that he wasn't feeling the magic anymore and left. Badger decided to call it quits too and K.O.T.I was laid to rest.
Thank you to Lukas, Lisa, Matt, Michi, Charly, Damian, Zoe, De and anyone else whos helped us out, you KNOW who you are!!! x
