Hello there we are The Blank Expressions a very new band hailing from Scotland. The Blanks started off as a one man band playing mainly acoustic stuff and have a fair collection of songs from the early days. Now we are finally a five piece consisting of long time friends Ally Turner Ian Kay Thomas Fawcett and James MacDonald and joined by another friend (but not so long for some) Tommy Bell. So now our line up is complete it's time to rock. We love solo's and they make up a big part of our sound, catchy pulsating riffs mixed together with love encrusted solo's!! We have only been together as a band for two/ three months and counting but we are busy rehearsing for a busy year for ahead. Combining some acoustic mellowness with all out rock we hope to become a band of note, only time will tell!!!!!Sometime soon we will be recording our first EP so please look out for it here.
