So, I decided that the snazzy professional bio just wasn't cutting it.
Here's the story: I'm 19 years old. I just recently relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana from the little ol' town of Clarksville, Indiana.I have been singing since I was able to speak. I have distinct memories of myself in my car seat belting out the lyrics to Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You." My toddler attempts of singing amused my parents and all those around me, but I really didn't take on a passion for singing until I was about 6, and from then on it was pretty difficult to get me to stop. I am, and will always be, a ham. I love the spotlight. In my youth I enjoyed singing and dancing, and at one point I shamefully admit I wanted to be the next Britney Spears. However; I was still craving more from music and I found inspiration in people like Garth Brooks, Tracy Chapman, Etta James, and Jonathan Edwards. It wasn't until I was about 14 that I really dove into music and started listening to a lot of different genres and I found myself intrigued and discovered my need to write and express myself through song. When I was 15, I finally picked up the guitar and taught myself to play. It wasn't an easy task and it required tons of patience and a lot of time and practice. I started writing soon after I started to play and it seemed like I had a lot to say, so the songs just kept coming.Since then I've done a lot of recording, playing, and have come to appreciate everything that is music. I've had the pleasure of playing many famous clubs and venues, met my heroes, and still have a lot to accomplish in the music business.
