About Me

Afflicted with Guitar Acquisition Syndrome. I'm down to my Martin six string and my 1989 Fender Strat, and I still have trouble deciding which one I want to play. The Strat has been getting the lions share of the attention lately, but I feel the Martin calling to me...
I grew up on the Southern California coast, and I miss the music and surfing scene there. I still surf when I get the chance. My daughter is just learning and she's already better than I ever was. I've been known to skate when my daughter finds the time to get out there with me. She got me a Sector 9 longboard for Christmas, so things are looking up. We live in Northern California now, but I long to go back to Hawaii and Japan.
Music is as essential to me as breathing. My first concert was The Doors, Steppenwolf, and The Chambers Brothers at the Hollywood Bowl. I think The Beatles were the greatest musicians ever, and I've been a Berlin fan for over 20 years. The latest concert we've been to was to see Shakira last August. She puts on a great show, and my daughter was thrilled. I love most styles of music from many countries, but I'm still a rocker through and through. I play it loud and proud any time I'm in the car.
