Don't try and put Jack Dill in a musical box, his world encompasses
many melodic landscapes and contradictions! This undeniably talented,
handsome and charismatic young man (now 22) is a multifaceted singer,
musician, songwriter and performer.
A little all over the map? Yes, geographically and perhaps
metaphorically, young Jack Dill started developing his unique,
trendsetting style before he was even aware of what he was achieving.
Jack started singing when he was 6 years old. He would tape record
his performance and then see if he could capture one better. A
perfectionist, yet improvisational, Jack would let his love for music
carry him through many musical styles and instruments. Jack's spiritual
and tight knit family moved around the country a lot during Jacks
preteen and teenage years, Jack's inquisitive nature allowed him to
experiment in Classical, Pop, Rock, R&B, Rap, Hip-Hop, Dance and
Singer/Songwriter genres depending on the scene and town he found
himself in.
Always adaptable Jack, developed vocally in classical training and
settled in on piano, keyboards and guitar as his primary instruments.
Inspired after Kurt Cobain's tragic suicide in 1994, Jack picked up his Father's old nylon guitar and just started writing. It was only a year or so later he discovered the Beatles, which brought him to where he feels more at home now, the keys. With influence's ranging from Daniel Johns (Silverchair, The Dissociatives) to Michael Jackson, Jack's original and creative styles
juxtapose dark dreamy ballads with upbeat rock/pop tracks that have a
dance/beat sensibility.
Jack Dill as a performer is equally compelling and intriguing! One
moment you find yourself within his sadness for the lack of love and
compassion in the world and the next you find yourself smiling,
drinking and dancing with friends on the New Jersey coast. Jack's warm
personality and smile could light the sun yet his dark mysterious gaze
could rock the moon off its axis.
When you listen to Jack's music and see him perform it live, you get
the sense that you are watching the evolution of a new musical
destiny and rock's new prince is preparing to take his crown. Jack Dill
recently moved to Los Angeles, CA where he is currently playing live
and recording. Don't miss his performances while you can catch him in

his stage.
