Influences: I believe that musicians should be in love with music ... not only with their own. ;)
My all-time favourites: Bob Dylan, Ton Steine Scherben, Tori Amos, Elliott Smith, The Beatles, Billy Bragg, Neil Young, Tool, Joni Mitchell, The Jacobites, Patti Smith ... Elliott and Rio and John and Nikki may have a consummate peaceful time, wherever they may be now.
And I dig Pink Floyd, Samiam, The Band, David Bowie, The Who, Cat Stevens, Cat Power, cats in general :P ... ahem ... Bad Religion, Violent Femmes, Suzanne Vega, Metallica, Simon & Garfunkel, Trouble, Queen, Nick Drake, A Perfect Circle, Leonard Cohen, Danzig ... Also Anna Ternheim, Natalia Zukerman, Gisbert zu Knyphausen, Ane Brun, Vicki Genfan, Ron Sexsmith, Feist, Cat Power, Tom Liwa, Jan Allain ... and all this great old and new music that's floating through time and space. (And please don't mind if you miss your favourite musician or your own name ... Lists like these could be exhaustive only in a perfect world.)
Sounds Like: As a matter of principle, every female voice with acoustic guitar sounds like Suzanne Vega, Joan Baez or Tracy Chapman. Didn't you know that?! ;o)
