About Me

Once, walking the night, wondering at the stars, wandering the dark and narrow city streets, in a youth, that young imaginative impressionable, youth, searching and seeking the center, the core, where the well springs, I stood looking, looking, looking, and hearing a faint and distant song, sometimes captured, sometimes lost, and gone. Friends by my side, at times, sharing the deep, keeping it light, laughing at things... and at times alone, I admit, down on my knees, longing for love among the dead leaves, below a broken canopy of naked branches, growing crooked from crooked trees. Have had it, have lost it, and now I hope to find it, to lose it, to find it again, so that this tiny joy may never end! I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4........................................................ ............................................................ ..REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: REVIEWS: ............................................................ .........................................................."T he music that he produces is hugely reminiscent of The Beatles during their more downbeat era. 'Many Years Ago' has an airy John Lennon-esque vocal that dips and drops, rises and falls throughout...'Concordia Discours' is a more chord-based acoustic guitar song where it's just Ethan and the guitar. Again, it's downbeat but flows well with a variety of pace and melody. If you'd have bought an acoustic album of slow songs by The Beatles, you may enjoy this. But don't expect liveliness, this is solemn music for those late night ponderings." -Jack Cook, Glasswerk National, 3/7/2008.................................................... ............................................................ ......"Originating from Seattle and sounding like a depressed Nick Drake in a momentarily upbeat mood, Perry is always going to be a hard sell, but ‘Many Years Ago’ in particular shows there’s something worth taking notice of here. His nasally tones combine well with the classic musical themes of loving and losing and occasionally Perry reminds of solo Lou Reed. These songs are certainly growers and while initially they may sound simplistic and mundane they grow to sound refreshing and worthwhile...Occasional moments of hilarious lyrical brilliance slip out, (“She was always by my side, and gave me rides, in her Volvo”)..." -Owen Mckeon, Glasswerk National, 11/9/2007

It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable." -Helen Keller "Let Us Have Faith" ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------
