Let's see . . . I think I'm a simple girl who likes to hang around real people. Film is my passion and it's a part of me. I love to smile, laugh, and be around positive people.
BIO
CC Stinson (Writer/Director/Producer) grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, attended high school in Germany and obtained her Masters in Information Systems from Tarleton State University. In 2005, she left her corporate career to fully focus on producing, writing, acting and directing. Her short films include her directorial debut Breakdown that has recently been selected to air on BETJ Shorts Showcase and award winning children’s film Hot Summer Daze. She has completed a full-length feature tribute documentary to her late father and currently in postproduction on Light, Bright, Damn Near White a documentary that discusses the topic of Colorism. Her drive and passion has lead to articles in national publications such as ESSENCE, and CREATE magazines and local media like Austin’s Caught in the Act, Round Rock Leader, Dallas Morning News, and Killeen Daily Herald.
