In December 2007, I wrapped principle photography on my feature film, BROKEN HEARTS CLUB. We shot 16 straight days. It is a remake of a short film I made in 2006 and I loved making this film. We go back into production in June for reshoots.

Who Am I?
I am the very lucky man who has met enough people who think and feel like I do about making independent films. I was able to put together a team of talented actors, composers and crew to help me make 13 films.

From shorts to features, from legitimate to guerilla-style filmmaking, we've managed to crank them out! I've never adhered to conventional thinking regarding indie filmmaking. I don't let money stop me. I believe there is always a way. I've made films for $250 and up to $70,000 and I've put the same energy, love and effort into each of them.
WHO am I? I am [ indescribable ]

WHAT am I? I am a [ writer, director, producer, editor...filmmaker ]
Who am I? I am too many things to mention. Too many nouns. Too many adjectives. Too many intangibles. Too many variables. But in the interest of making this section more interesting I will give it a go:
I came to LA from NY in 1995 to continue my pursuit of a screenwriting career. For several years I steeped myself in all things screenwriting, studying contemporary writers like Shane Black, Terry Rossio and Quentin Tarantino.
In 1999 I changed gears and began embarking on a journey towards writing for television. Following the expert tutelage of Larry Brody, I prepared a succession of TV series proposals, pilots, pilot episodes and episodic scripts. Shortly afterwards, I received a contest's Honorable Mention for a family TV script for TV.
I ultimately returned my focus to writing for the silver screen and I also began a new stage in my career by becoming an independent filmmaker. I 2003 was my directorial short film debut, GET SPIELBERG. Over the course of 3 years I continued an aggressive indie/guerilla film education by writing, directing, producing and editing thirteen films. This accelerated education helped tip the indie filmmaking learning curve in my favor and also further familiarized me with different film genres. As a result I can write drama, comedy, romance or satire.
Out of necessity, I edited all of my films. I learned on Adobe Premiere and finally stuck with Final Cut. My editing skills paid off when I edited EL RIDE and it won a *Best in Fest* honor. My films have screened in IFC-TV, streamed on the Internet and been accepted into film festivals and filmmaking contests.
What's behind the WORDS?
I am a WRITER first and foremost. I write when I am inspired. In fact, I do everything when I am inspired. I am inspired by love, peace and anger. I can write something creatively caustic, angry & jarring when I am pissed-off or something uplifting and sensual when I am at peace and feeling the touch of love on my soul. I loathe the feeling of just going through the motions. Whatever I do, I want to feel compelled to do it. I want to feel like I MUST do it.

So...who am I? I am human; I ponder. I do. I love. I obsess. I lament. I fume. I cry. I error. I hurt. I heal. I dream. I rant. I doubt. I make films. I have fun. I inspire. I be.
