T.M.A.T. which stands for-The Man About Town, is a West Coast based artist from Bakersfield (Baketown) California, a city located north of Los Angeles. T.M.A.T.'s experiences as well as his city-which he describes on the weekend as a fertile place for the average Joe and Jane to get shot, stabbed, or knocked out- allows him to create sonic creations that not only span Hip-Hop, but the outer realms of Jazz, Rock and Soul as well. "I plan on putting out some worthwhile material", said T.M.A.T., relaxing in his studio drinking on a glass of Seagrams XO; "The only issue is reaching out to those who may not normally check for a dude from Bakersfield because they think only quality shit comes from the major cities!" Will T.M.A.T.'s desires be fulfilled? "If it does great, If not, then I'll go to college and probably wind up teaching elementary school!" Don't worry brother you'll make it.
