About Me

I wasn't born with a guitar in my hand, but sometimes it feels like it. As far as I can remember, I passed the point of no return around age ten. My natural love for music wasn't the reason that the guitar came to me. I think that it was poor health that started the process. Fragile health took away the basketball and brought me the guitar. Actually it was my dad who brought me the guitar. I was in the hospital and it quickly became and still remains to be my best friend. There are a lot of reasons to do music and I think that I play on a different reason every day. I like to help people connect with their own personal music. One of my philosophies about music is that there is no "perfect" musician or definitely "right" was to do it. Since there is not away to pitch a "no-hitter" as a musician, all types of music deserve respect, yes even the kinds that I don't personally understand. As musicians we are never complete, we just end eventually come to an end. The musicians in my life are truly a blessing. fantasy layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com MyHotComments

My Interests

Music is my main interest, but I am a little bit interested in everything in the world.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet free thinking creative people, people who are like me and people who are not like me. I like people who know who they are and trust in themselves.

Music:

Although I have my preferences I will listen and play almost anything. Good songs are timeless. The emotions behind songs will outlive the person(s) who wrote the song. In my mind each time a song is performed it comes alive again. I think that this applies to everything from bluegrass to classical.

Movies:

A Hard Days Night, The Last Waltz, Bring On The Night, Band of Gypsies, One Trick Pony, A Star Is Born, The Shawshank Redemption, The Waking Life, Dr. Zhivago, Yellow Submarine, Let's Get Lost, Bring On The Night

Television:

Austin City Limits, Family Guy, Aqua-Teen Hunger Force, Cops, Court TV asfunction:playTune,1

Books:

Biographies about almost anybody.

Heroes:

Evil Kneivel, Dennis Perrin, Derryberry, BAJ, Bill Francoeur, Frank Wolking

My Blog

Last night I had a dream that I was catching bunnies with my bare hands...

I didn’t get to hang on to any of them for very long. No animals were hurt in this dream.
