Originally from Connecticut, I moved here in 1978. I miss the beach, but wouldn't know what direction I was going in without the mountains! I have been singing most of my life but no one really knew about it until about 8 years ago. I sang in various bands doing back up vocals for a couple years and was lucky enough to know the guys in Wild Blue who, for two years, let me follow them around to sing lead on a couple tunes. In 2001, I tried out for lead singer of The Fabulous Recliners, got hired on the spot, they changed the name to RACHEL JANE AND THE HURRICANE and the rest is history!! I couldn't have asked for a better, more talented bunch of guys. Aside from being a singer, I have a full time job on the side ;) as the Office Administrator to the VP of a management/outplacement firm. You can usually find me out with friends on the weekends checking out the local music scene. There is some incredible talent in Denver. Get out there and see for yourself people!! During the week it's pretty much work and rest and LOTS of talking on the phone to my friends! :) I LOVE to text message too. I hope to see some of you out and about. Until then...
