The Retromantics were formed in 2002 from the 'leftovers' of several other DooWop / RNR / RAB projects including the Fairytales, The Four Dimes, Boom Drives Crazy & The Chotalls. After a few changes in the lineup, the remaining group members Jan, Bart, Karsten and Chuck started to sing Doo Wops on street corners and to do their first small shows on private occasions. It was in 2005 that they were joined by new lead singer Denise, bringing 12 years of stage experience and a fabulous lead voice with her.
2006 turns out to be the year of bigger gigs, including a Rock'n'Roll & Jive Festival in the Hannover region and an upcoming show in Sweden later this year.
There's plenty more coming 'round the bend, so watch out for our first CD due to be out in 2007.
