Right To Organize

Its not a priviledge... its our Right To Organize.

About Me

Support Campus Workers RIGHT TO ORGANIZE!

Students across the country are building an exciting new campaign to support ALL campus workers right to organize and form unions on campus! The campaign focuses on a single demand that all campuses can take up, regardless of where you may be at in your local living wage campaign.
Want to be a part of building this campaign? There are three working groups building it over the summer. Call or email Max Toth (at) usasnet.org or 415-577-1188 for details and to get involved! Or send a message through this profile and your local contact can add a more concentrated flare to whatever may be happening.

Why the Right to Organize?

During the Georgetown and Washington University St. Louis living wage campaigns, both campuses demanded card check neutralitya process of union recognition that makes it as easy as it should be, instead of the lengthy NLRB elections process that allows employers to run union-busting campaigns. Both of these demands were not met, and we realize that it will take students uniting across the country to ensure that workers internationally recognized right to organize will be supported on our campuses. No union-busting on our campuses! Workers should be able to form unions without intimidation, fear, and harassment.
