So many phenomenal women come to my mind when I think of my Heroes/Sheroes becuase they all have so many wonderful characteristics..but here are a few... Maya Angelou. Maya Angelou is definitely a phenomenal woman and a hero to me because she has the voice that knows oppression, struggle, beauty, and tenacity. She makes it clear in all of her writings that it is not about how one falls but it is the way in which they get up. My pastor, the Rev. Dr. Cynthia L. Hale. Pastor Hale has inspired me in so many ways just by her journey as a woman to the calling she is in. She exemplifies what it means to be a woman of God and not allowing the world you live in define who you are supposed to be. And of course my Grandmother and my Mommy......too many words to express why...
