ILIA ANGELENE

Ilia Angelene DeJesus Medina, age 20 was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been singing since the age of 4, and has since pursued her dreams of becoming a writer and actress. She landed a lead role in an independent film by Ella Vision Entertainment called True Adversity in 2002, which won best drama in 2004 New York independent film festival. She also has won countless talent competitions including her most recent “Apollo Nights In Atlanta” which she placed first in Sept. 2005. Angelene currently sings background for Keisha Jackson, daughter of soul singer Millie Jackson, and The Classical-Gospel Experience within the Atlanta area and Europe. In 2006 she was invited to audition for Tyler Perrys play "Whats Done in the Dark". She is currently recording, and hopes to release a solo project by summer 2007. Her main goal in life is to make feel good music and to relate and touch people through her gifts.
