FANATOMY

Steeped in symbolism, the Pittsburgh based band FANATOMY was formed on Valentines Day of 2001.Fusing rock, goth, and dark pop, this unique group of musicians create everything from haunting gossamers to understated words of rage. One work of rage is the "I Hate Your God" music video, produced by Rudy Panucci of Radio Free Charleston (of Charleston, WV).The frontman, Murdok Hyde, is difficult to describe, but attempts at doing so have included "enigmatic" and "fluid." In truth, his works are definitely enigmatic and fluid, always leaving the listener wondering what is coming next.FANATOMY's influences include Depeche Mode, Bau Haus, and XTC, all powerful bands that have left a definite mark in the annals of music history. Indeed, FANATOMY is on the track to doing the same, having already been played on radio stations all across the globe.In fact, FANATOMY is currently recording "7 Years of Bad Luck," a brooding and spiritual album that will be sure to not only make its devoted fan base happy, but capture the attention of countless others.
