We are Souls Rest and we make hip hop music. There's two of us in Souls Rest; The Rawface on mic duties dropping bars of weight and Juvenile cutting it up like Edward Scissorhands - but with less blood - sometimes. To be honest we're sick of crap jiggy hip hop where facile weeners (wieners?) boast about how many hoes (hos? I mean women of loose morals rather than a garden tool) they're 'hitting' and how much Cristal (dun know if that's spelt right either but fancy champers is what it is) they're necking - who gives a rats arse - we like to think our lyrics are a bit more challenging and hopefully uplifting too. You can let us know if you disagree.
The big news right now is that we're gon be moving from lovely Liverpool (which you have to then say 'Capital of Culture 2008' after everytime you mention the place) to Vancouver, Canada which is a daunting move but why shouldn't two white UK chaps make a hefty impression on the scene across the pond? We'll let you know how that goes....
