AVAILABLE FOR KEYBOARDS, DRUMS & BASS

Paul took his grade 1 piano at the age of 8 and had progressed and passed grade 8 by the time he reached 16. He performed his first gig when he was 9 and was participating in session work at 13.

Paul left school in 1999 to pursue his music career, and while completing a BTEC National Diploma in Popular Music he joined his first group "The Fabulous Boogie Band." During this time, Paul also had a resident gig at Project Blue piano bar / Restaurant in Maidstone which lasted for over 4 years. In 2001 he went on to join 'Loose Change', which toured Ireland as well as various venues in the UK.

2001 saw Paul join 'Tommy Allen's Trafficker' which resulted in touring with Big Joe Turner (ex bass player for BB King and Stevie Wonder), Mojo Bufford (Harmonica player for the late Muddy Waters) Taka Boom, and Michael Roach (Singer, songwriter, guitarist and Blues show presenter for BBC Radio 4). Paul left Trafficker in 2004 to become a freelance musician and has since played alongside: Chaka Khan, Leburn, Debbie Bond, Giles Hedley, Earl Green, Root Jackson, Linda Lewis, Carol Grimes, Noel McKoy, Hamish Stuart, Madeline Bell, Pete French and Delta Moon to name a few.

Now in 2007 you can see Paul perform with The Fabulous Boogie Band, Dr JJs Blues Band, Geoff Achison (pictured left) and the UK Soul Diggers, Bob Bowles, Sam Kelly, Primo Blues, Collette Wilkinson, 3rd Degree Leburn, Loose Change, Nigel Bagge, Rik Waller, Station House, The UK Funk All Stars , and his own band The Funkskateers.
