My Interests

Music:

Band Website: www.groovedoctors.co.uk www.hokiejoint.co.uk
Band Members: A 57 precision with heavy flatwound strings by Ernie Ball which i have been using recently, 55-110 and are a fantastic heavy gauge string without the tension problems associated with this weight. My old gauge was 60-120 and gave Robbie some good laughs www.ernieball.co.uk
I WILL BE USING LINE 6 HD400 AMPS AND AGUILAR DB112 CABS FOR 2009.
I would like to personally thank David Avenius at Aguilar for his help and support, trust me the man works hard at all levels within the company. http://www.aguilaramp.com/
Darrin, Chris at the Bass Merchant in Colchester, for their time and patience, also Kev at the Bass Merchant who sets up the basses, for his time and effort http://www.bassmerchant.com/
The basses are maintained by "Dr" Robbie Gladwell and the rig by John Cooper, with Ben Gardner working between the two when neccesary. http://guitarsurgery.brinkster.net/default.aspx
The red vintage precision is my No.2 and back up for the 57, my main bass.
I will be using an Ibanez Artcore semi-acoustic arch-top bass that weighs in at 8lbs for the foreseeable future till i am fully recovered from my injuries
If i have to use any amp modeling, Line 6 products are my prefered choice, i use a Line 6 Low Down Studio 110, I've just got this for studio work and jam sessions, the main sound i use is the Ampeg B15 flip top, and the sound is awesome for its size. http://line6.com/
My Cabs from 2009 will be protected with Silvertone Covers. Silvertone are a British Company who can supply covers for stock amps and cabs by most of the major manufacturers, or if not custom fitting is available. The one in the picture is from the Vintage range http://www.ampcovers.co.uk
Also i have two Zoom stomp boxes for effects and portable sound modeling for clinics if i need them. www.zoom.co.jpff .. ff
