The Production Suite is a profesional Recording Studio based in Dublin city centre, five minutes from Grafton Street. The Studio is run by Chris O'Brien and Graham Murphy, a Production team whose versatility extends across a broad range of musical styles, having produced and written songs with artists as diverse as;
Human League, The Blue Nile, Whipping Boy, Clannad, Luan Parle, Lucie Silvas, Perry Blake, Trix, Mike Scott & The Waterboy's, Aslan, A House, The Secret Police, The Immediate, Caldestino, Jaded Sun, Something Happens, Gemma Hayes, Moya Brennan, Sephira, "Fast Eddie Clarke" (Motorhead), Westlife, Lucia Evans, DJ Jeremiah, Samantha Mumba, Juliet Turner, Solveig Sandnes, Whitewater, The Stunning, Leona Daly, Angel City, Maria Christensen, The Quireboy's, Blue in Heaven , The Revenants, Hot House Flowers, Eimear Quinn, Perry Rose, Dove and multiplatinum selling Japanese group W-inds.
They also contributed to the film scores of Dead Bodies, Presque Rien, H3 and Neil Jordan's Breakfast on Pluto.
The Studio is equiped with a ProTools HD3 system running Protools/ Logic Audio with loads of plugins inc Waves, Amp Farm, SSL, Pultec, Focusrite Etc. with a Rosendahl master clock and Apogee A/D converters.
Great monitoring by Yamaha and ProAc with Bryston and Yamaha amplification.
Outboard is an extensive collection of Manley Compressors , Tubetech mic amps, Neve EQ, Urei and dbx Limiters and FX by TC Electronic and Lexicon.
A large midi setup is served by Roland, Akai, Waldorf, Novation and is controlled by a fullyweighted Studiologic masterboard.
A large sample library is provided in EXS24 and Akai formats.
Microphones by Neumann, Beyer and Shure.
The Production Suite have also worked for major record labels such as Sony BMG, Universal, Polydor, S Records, EMI, Ministry of Sound,
East-West, Virgin, Chrysalis, Atlantic, Sire, WEA, Warner's, Polygram TV, Rough Trade, RTE, BBC, ITV, SyCo TV, RMG,
Decca, and Trevor Horn's ZTT but they are always on the lookout for emerging unsigned talent.
