Biography
First of all, thank you for visiting the official Sean Dempsey Myspace Page.At an early age, Sean began playing the keyboard and making up
songs with friends as fun but soon it turned into something he really
enjoyed doing. He started to become more frequent at writing new
material and putting together mock albums. His music is Pop/R&B
sounding with a really interesting twist as his musical influences are
so wide, ranging from Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Rihanna
to Snow Patrol, Elvis Presley and Irish artists like The Corona's and
The Script. At the end of 2007, Sean created his first ever song which
was written, produced and sung by himself.

"Breakin' Up" was Sean Dempsey's first single.
Sean didn't know that it would get so much success in such a short time.
The song was released on iTunes at first as a promo single but after this
Sean then focused on to release an official CD & Download version.
"Breakin' Up" was then released on the 22nd August 2008 as the official
first single ,on CD & Digital, from Sean Dempsey. The single charted at
number 2 on the Download Chart, number 34 on the iTunes Top 100 and
number 11 on the iTunes Pop 100, but no stopping there it went to number
99 on the official Irish Charts!

Sean has focused on his second single release which was a special EP
Edition. The EP Edition contained 5 songs ranging from an Intro to a bonus
remix of his first single "Breakin' Up". The EP Editon of "Ain't It Lovely' was
available as a Download on the 30th January 2009. His new music is definitely
more of his style as it brings people up to dance. His style of R&B Dance is
funky and fresh, and definitely something that no one in Ireland is doing at
this time.

For the future, Sean hopes to finish his debut album which he
has been working on for the past 10 months or so. All that is for certain for
the album is it's name which is self-enitled. Sean also hopes to do more
interviews and live shows to promote himself in Ireland and abroad. He
loves nothing more than getting a lovely comment, so please leave one!
