REVIEWS
"....Magnificent album ....orchestral pieces, bagpipes, electro kicks, harp, wind instruments, flamenco foot taps......" World Music Trax, Canada.
"....Totally unique sound had me dumbfounded from the first bar, stays with you throughout the day....." Capital Public Radio, Australia.
“Your songs Hungarian Celtic, Celtic Mute, Melodic Minor all owe allegiance to a classical form that mirrors the work of Philip Glass. Well recorded. " Taxi
"A. George's 'Celtic Tiger' is another electronic marvel - but moving away from the dance beats of his other offering, George dives into mixing electronica with traditional folk sounds of Irish music. The resulting music is disarming and curious.
'Pathos Sonic - Rainy Day in Ireland', is both a movie sound track bed along with native Irish lines - same goes for 'C4 - Romance in E Minor' and 'C3 - Bagpipe ole St. Patrick'.
The title track, 'Celtic Tiger', is haunting - violin patches and what sound like kinetic acoustic violin performances, cello support, and dissonant choral voices, colour the track dark and perplexing - but compelling musically. Well done...." Earbuzz, USA

BIOGRAPHY
A.George hails from a musical family. His late grandfather was a violinist. His mother, a self taught multi instrumentalist trained her children on keyboard during childhood. A.George's brother is a vocalist and multi instrumentalist.
A.George commenced violin lessons from the late Mr.M.J.Antony. He later trained under the auspices of Mary Bolard, ex lead violinist of National Symphony Orchestra, and passed exams in music from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, UK. A.George won competitions, played in multicultural bands and also played in orchestra for Mozart's Mass.
Later on, A.George turned to composition and arrangement. Fascinated by the multi layered synthesiser and choir sounds of Clannad and Nicky Ryan, he experimented with different arrangement techniques, months on end, inorder to produce the 'Wall of Sound'. A.George was also inspired by Micheal O'Suilleabhain's fusion of Celtic, Choral and World music.
Having trained in salsa and brazilian dances, for more than a decade, A.George is also a choreographer.
A.George is working on his next album, a cross over of Classical New Age and Contemporary style.
