Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental, international, humanitarian organisation dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in 28 of the world’s poorest countries.
What Concern does
Concern's mission is to help people living in extreme poverty achieve major improvements in their lives. Concern works with the poor themselves, and with local and international partners who share the organisation’s vision, to create just and peaceful societies where the poor can exercise their fundamental rights.
Innovation
Concern is committed to identifying new and innovative approaches to meet the needs of our target group. It has already achieved some significant success in developing innovative approaches to problems. One of the best examples of this is Concern’s approach to tackling acute malnutrition through Community-based Therapeutic Care (CTC), in partnership with Valid International.

You...so get involved!
Take a trek along the Great Wall of China, volunteer your time or fundraise in your school and workplace: getting involved with Concern is easy to do and worthwhile. There are loads of ways to take part and support Concern’s work in the poorest of the poor countries across the globe.
What to do
There are many levels of involvement, ranging from making a donation to working for Concern in one of the organisation’s many projects around the world. The full range of jobs, activities, events, programmes, gifts and more are listed here
What difference will it make?
Getting involved with Concern makes a difference to the lives of the people the organisation is working with. Each year Concern relies on the generosity of the public to raise half of the funding it needs to carry out its work.
The people Concern works with have all the potential in the world to change their lives; and with your support, Concern has the potential to help them do it. From fundraising events to corporate donations, Concern will ensure that every gift goes towards helping those who need it most.
