Influences: I can't really mention influences for each of the artists on the Auand catalogue... but I'm sure all of them have been deeply influenced by any of the revolutionary masters we have had in the past: from Ellington to Mingus, Monk and Coltrane, Ornette and Miles, Dolphy and Bley... but it's not enough... XX century great composers like Stravinskij, Shostakovich, Debussy etc. influenced every modern composer as well. I'm sure there is also a great influence coming from rock and pop (Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Police, Nirvana, Bjork, Sound Garden, Massive Attack...).
I hope that the Auand sound will never have any barrier!
