Destination? Events

“Destination?” is a concept that asks the question of the clubber, “What do I want from a night out?” and Destination? answers that with consistently great music, a visual experience and a great feeling both on and off the dance floor. It’s a night where people can arrive early to enjoy the mood and a drink and then groove till the wee hours.Destination? Perth has its home at Ambar Nightclub, which is Perth’s most successful and most internationally acclaimed venue, having been recently voted into DJ Magazines top 50 clubs of the world. Destination? Sydney operates out of The Cross in Sydney. It also runs regular events at clubs around Australia. This year Destination? became the first club night in Australia to be nominated at the international Breakspoll awards in the UK.

2008 artists (see our top friends for links to their page)

Signal Drivers

2008 is already shaping as a big year for the boys with their own singles as well as collabs with Miles Dyson, Audioporn and Karl Sav about to be released along with a remix of Tina Cousins for Sony/BMG. They are producing the first Destination? mix compilation along with good friend Miles Dyson which will be released later this year. Exciting times ahead

Calvertron

If it’s Fidget, Ghetto Funk Filth, Electro House or whatever they’re calling it these days, Calvertron is becoming one of the leaders in the field. He's one half of Twocker and also hard house producer Alex Calver. 2008 sees big remixes for big names on the way. Laidback Luke, Deekline, Jelo, CJ Bolland, Sneaker Pimps will all see the Calvertron treatment.

Banga

Banga's DJing career kicked of playing Tribal House and Techno. His style of music continued to change and mature, moving more and more towards to his own individual Electro , Techouse and techno trade mark which he is now well respected for. His partnering with Calvertron has led to 2 EPs and a number of forthcoming smashes on Destination?

AC Slater

Hailing from Brooklyn, NYC he has a frickin huge sound. With a background in the slightly harder side of things he's toned it down (just a little!) to bring the crunchiest electro around. Bookmark him to smash charts all through 2008

Miles Dyson

Owner of over 12 record labels, a distribution company (Plasmapool) and number 1 hits including his remixes of Jude Sebastian's "Rubberman" and 30Hz's "Daddio". His sound is so hot right now that if you don't have something of his in your record crate...you're not doing it right!

Karl Sav

Karl Sav is the big beat producer from Perth with equally big releases already on Erase, Unstable and Re:Connect. His recent pairing with Perth vocalist Nikita has seen him continue at the top of the break beat charts.

Defunct!

Defunct! is the transatlantic combo of Jaksaw and Velox bringing together both US and UK sounds and already becoming known for producing some of the biggest sounding electro with trashy bleeps, cut up vocals, and unheard of effusive bass lines. Boom!

Electric Soulside

Electric Soulside are brothers from Belgium who melds breaks, glitch, electro and house into their production, creating sounds that twist and turn whether they are loosely adhering to the structured sounds of house or keeping their own beat to UK breakbeat. After getting a name for themselves in breakbeat, their jackin house is now taking over the world!
