About Me

Perth based freelance Illustrator /Graphic Designer.
Hmmm...I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. I like to use a lot of styles; nowadays varying between anime/comic book and photorealistic.
I'm proficient with most media although I prefer to work digitally. Gig posters are my specialty but I also regularly get hit up for business cards, corporate logos, merchandise and clothing art as well as portraits. Pretty much anything really, as long as it is interesting.
I like long walks on the beach, puppies and the colour blue. Well, no, not really - just seeing if you were paying attention.
Anyways, I'm always busy, but will endeavour to put up occasional blogs of interesting art projects so please check them out. Meanwhiles....
Here's some art for the Destination? series of gigs. Excuse some of the older posters. They are pretty cringe worthy and I don't know what I was thinking in some cases. And no... I don't just draw chicks... but it is asked for often.
Right... more pics this time art for the Cottesloe Beach Hotel in Western Australia. Steering for a more photorealistic finish with the most recent pics - less linework more painterly.... unfortunately takes longer to do.

My Interests

Art... although that's probably obvious...

I'd like to meet:

Now for a bunch of random posters...

Music:

All that is Drum n Bass. Ooh also have a penchant for Nu Jazz and girlie vocal house.

My Blog

Simmo
